Born in 1972 in Gdansk, Malgorzata Martzloff-Kowalczyk is a Franco-Polish artist whose singular journey lies at the crossroads of several cultures and sensibilities. A graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Poland and ESMOD in Paris, she has developed a personal pictorial language, nourished by a profound reflection on the human being and consciousness.

After a stay in Italy, where she explored silk painting at Studio Quarta, she returned to Paris to devote herself fully to painting from 2018 onward. A member of the Taylor Foundation since 2020, she set up her studio in Carpentras in 2021 and now exhibits regularly in the Vaucluse region and beyond.

Her work—both spiritual, expressive, and symbolic—questions the human mind and states of consciousness through a purified and meditative universe. The minimalist forms and white figures that populate her canvases embody spirit-consciousness, inner quest, and silent presence. Each composition becomes a suspended space, where the balance between emptiness and matter opens a contemplative dimension.
