Anna Prudhomme is a photographer and an artist. She learned photography from her father, a war reporter. She is also a writer and curator. After studying sociology and political science, she earned a master’s degree in journalism. She produces editorial series for magazines, artist portraits and album cover, and collaborates with fashion houses. 

Her first solo exhibition, Arachnées, was presented in October 2024 at The Window gallery in Paris. Arachnées is a photo series highlighting ten creative women from the Paris scene. Shrouded in veils and caught in webs that may well be their own, the series explores the figures and constructs of femininity.

She likes to think about her photographic work through the words of the poet Sandra Moussempès: “The photographer of thought, himself thoughtful…”. At the beginning, there is always a reflection—something nestled in her mind, nourished by an imposed visual culture—that she feels compelled to dissect.
