Her work seeks to embrace love and intimacy, whether in real or imagined worlds.
Prudence studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. She was inspired to find a way to let trivial reality exist within the realm of symbolic imagination, choosing accessible materials compatible with the logistical constraints of daily life, such as those found in the stationery aisle of a supermarket, right next to the checkout.
“The Colossi”: A series that explores the power of our emotions

The Colossi is a reflection on emotions and their capacity to bind us to one another, reminding us of the power of our desires and our fears.
The series seeks to create an aesthetic of large, powerful bodies that intertwine and merge. In these works, it is often impossible to distinguish one body from another, to identify the feminine or the masculine, or to know whether the figures are fighting or loving. These entanglements are rendered with the intensity of desperate love, using ballpoint pens (Pilot for black ink and Bic for color).
